The air fryer has function buttons that beep when pressed, it also beeps to alert the user of when the cooking process has completed. The air fryer also has a fan that can be heard when in use. The noise heard whilst in use is common for all air fryers.

You can cook vegetables in this, it has a vegetable setting that you'd cook them on. However, you can choose your own temperature and time setting to suit the specific vegetables and the amount you want to cook them, e.g. 200°C for 6 mins for asparagus or 15 mins at 190°C for carrots. Other best time and temperature settings are listed in the item's user manual.
