About this product
This large cross wing indoor clothes airer gives you 14 metres of drying space, so you can hang up a full load of washing in one go. It's brilliant for those days when the weather's too unpredictable to risk the outdoor line, or when you need to dry things flat without them losing their shape. The cross wing design means you get plenty of room without taking over the entire house, and it folds down neatly when you're done.
The frame's made from steel and plastic, so it's sturdy enough to hold up to 14kg of wet washing without wobbling. There are rails for hanging clothes and flat surfaces for jumpers or delicates that need laying out. When you're finished, it collapses down to just under 5cm deep, so you can tuck it away behind a door or in a cupboard. Simple, practical and gets your laundry dry without fuss or relying on the weather.

I bought this to replace a very old clothes airer. I wasn't disappointed. Great airer with plenty of space for drying clothes, and multi positioning if required for bigger items. Would recommend.

This is replacing one that broke - but had had it for at least 20 years and it broke only when it blew over outside. The previous one was brilliant and so is this. Holds a full washer load; folds away neatly; very sturdy; and it has a new feature of an extra bar to keep it stable. When mine finally broke I tracked one down that was identical - when you find something that does the job - look no further.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Home 14m Large Cross Wing Indoor Clothes Airer: Please note the feet can be removed and attached to the wings to hang shirts for drying, but the feet are there to protect the tube not to scratch on the ground, if removed, the tube might be scratched
