About this product
This large cross wing indoor clothes airer gives you 14 metres of drying space, so you can hang up a full load of washing in one go. It's brilliant for those days when the weather's too unpredictable to risk the outdoor line, or when you need to dry things flat without them losing their shape. The cross wing design means you get plenty of room without taking over the entire house, and it folds down neatly when you're done.
The frame's made from steel and plastic, so it's sturdy enough to hold up to 14kg of wet washing without wobbling. There are rails for hanging clothes and flat surfaces for jumpers or delicates that need laying out. When you're finished, it collapses down to just under 5cm deep, so you can tuck it away behind a door or in a cupboard. Simple, practical and gets your laundry dry without fuss or relying on the weather.

I got this clothes airer as it has been really difficult to get my washing dried with the constant wet weather. I can put a lot of clothes on it but when its not in use the airer folds down abd can be stored easily

Not strongly made
Sadly I had to return the clothes airer to the store because it was faulty. One of the metal rails was loose where the solder was not efficient. My previous airer was very similar except that the cross rails went directly into the side rails. A shame because my earlier one had lasted years. Argos did give me a refund.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Home 14m Large Cross Wing Indoor Clothes Airer: Please note the feet can be removed and attached to the wings to hang shirts for drying, but the feet are there to protect the tube not to scratch on the ground, if removed, the tube might be scratched
