Separate rice : perfectly cooked
Bought this for my son’s Christmas present as he often has mates round. He brought it to my house on Boxing Day when I had family here for prawn curry. It worked perfectly and I was amazed how easy it was to use and how fabulous the rice turned out with every grain separate and perfectly cooked. We all remarked on how difficult it is to get it right with large amounts of rice but put it in and leave it! Easy to wash up too! I might borrow it again!

Our supplier has advised that the Russell Hobbs 1.8L Rice Cooker and Steamer - Silver non stick is Whitford coating and it does contain PFAS, but all our coatings are food grade and below required levels so if ingested the coating will pass through the body and because the coating itself is a hardened blend of materials any parts will not leach out.

“ The unit is designed to work with water and to stop automatically based on the water level. Cooking using coconut milk might alter the recipe, as it might overcook or undercook. While the unit will not be damaged, unless the coconut milk overflows, the results may vary. ”
