The Birlea Stockwell Kingsize Bed Frame gives you a place to rest with storage space underneath. It's a wooden frame with a rustic oak effect finish and sleek black handles that bring a traditional farmhouse feel into the bedroom. Two large drawers glide quietly open on metal runners, offering 42 litres of storage for bedding, spare pillows, or out-of-season clothes. The solid slatted base provides firm support and allows air to circulate beneath the mattress, keeping things fresh.
The kingsize frame fits a standard kingsize mattress and supports up to 220kg total user weight. The drawers tuck neatly beneath the bed, so you can make use of space that would otherwise sit empty. This double bed is poor quality. It looks like an industrial style bed. The bed is chipboard with a wood looking exterior but when you start to put it together the chipboard starts to crack and chip

It fits only 140cm wide
It is a well made bed but it fits only 140cm wide mattress,it is advisable to buy mattress first,good luck finding one as i only found 135cm mattresses,it is a bed made for eu standards I think,argos app recommended to buy 135cm mattress and so i did but it didn’t fit,you are going to see a wide gap of 5cm between the bed edge and the mattress,apart mattress problem it is a good bed and relatively easy to install

Strong, sturdy bed

We can confirm the slats are held in place by 8 screws along the frame, however the slats come in a roll so the unfixed slates will be kept in place this way.

Im currently sat on my floor have been since 8am trying to assemble it with my step dad , so yes its really hard , its a lovely bed but i basically paid for wood and had to connect EVERYTHING myself
