Loving my new kettle , worth the money and design is pretty nice to look at . Would help if lid flipped open more but at the moment I am filling it with my plastic jug to make it easier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As other have said its noisy, gets worse over time. After about 18 months of use by only two people the lid has snapped clean off. Expected better by Bosch. Ripped off again

Russell hobbs v Bosch
Brought a Russell hobby kettle first, but had to return it as looks very cheap and didn't sit on the base very well. Seemed very unstable. So went for this bosch one, nice looking and a lot better kettle.

Well made kettle
A good looking, well made kettle. Having replaced a glass kettle I find it tricky to see the water level but no doubt will get used to it. It boils rapidly and pours well. Shame to pop-up lid needs a second lift to open it.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Bosch TWK5P475GB Designline Ergo Kettle - Anthracite: The Bosch Designline Ergo does not have double wall insulation so it will get hotter than the Styline kettle you currently have. The handle of the Designline Ergo will of course be cool to the touch – but it is recommended you avoid direct contact with the body of the kettle.

The heating element is concealed by a stainless steel lining.
