About this product
The Habitat Odin Single Platform Bed Frame gives you a proper sleeping space for your little one that fits neatly into smaller bedrooms. It's made from solid wood, that's naturally strong and built to last through the childhood years. The smooth white finish is easy to wipe clean and works with most bedroom colours. There's 30cm of space underneath, so you've got room to tuck storage boxes or baskets out of sight. The included wooden slats support the mattress evenly, no box spring needed.
The bed frame suits children from four years old right through to adult use, it's safety tested to 100kg. The platform design keeps everything stable and sturdy on the floor. It fits a standard single mattress, so you've got plenty of choice when you're picking bedding. The white finish brightens the room and matches with existing furniture. It arrives flat-packed with clear instructions, and you'll want two people for assembly to make things easier.

Sturdy, easy to assemble bed frame with good height for storage. Some issues with fitting parts and packaging. Mattress size may not perfectly fit. Good value for money, suitable for kids and adults.

Don’t bother.
The fittings provided with the bed did not fit the slots in the bed, had to send back. I would give a 0 stars if possible, what a waste of time.

Poor manufacture
This is cheap tat and not well made. The semicircular fixings on the legs did not fit the pre-drilled holes so we had to chisel them out to fit. It’s adequate for a three year old. There is no headboard as standard- available to buy separately.

Nice frame & easy to assemble.
Good bed frame at a good price. I was looking to replace my decades old single bed frame and needed something that would fit into a small room so had to resort to a bed described as for kids - it's fine for an adult so far. The extra height compared to my previous frame makes it good for fitting storage boxes underneath. Easy to put together on my own. The only downside was the way it had been packaged which meant hot glue from sealing the box had gone all over the wood of one of the parts and had to be chipped and filed off to enable the fixings to go in the holes it had filled. Also the slats had had card protective ends taped to them but the tape wouldn't come off the wood it had been applied to. I know the slats aren't on display but it was frustrating that a piece of tissue could have stopped the problem. I ended up covering the sticky brown bits I couldn't peel off with washi tape so it looked less unsightly.
