Great greenhouse, easy to set up.
I bought this for my dad to grow seeds in and he’s been having a great time with it. Super easy to set up, and delivery was prompt. Feels very sturdy now it’s up, too.

Amazing greenhouse!
I bought this greenhouse and it's perfect size not to small not to big, I can fit plenty in there, definitely 2 person to set it up but not rocket science to do it very simple if follow instructions correctly, I'm so happy with this greenhouse though.

Hi , great idea to grow your own vegetables,
I have bought two of these in the last year , it'd be only one if I didn't live in scotland though. The first one bought done a great job to grow vegetables in, until we had a storm then the polytunnel got shredded by high winds , we were away on holiday , hence not being able to take it down . So great to grow in ideal conditions Down side I have had to repurchase a second one ! Full thing again so now I have two frames ! Down side the diameters of the polytunnel , I can't find a replacement cover unless purchasing of eBay for 100 pounds 🤔 First one cost me 130 quid , second 90 pounds , The second one was only purchased to get the cover though , hence now having two frames! , it's impossible to find a cover to fit the mc gregor polytunnel, id say its a major Down fall , couldn't even contact the company that's supposed to make them to try and retrieve a cheap replacement cover , rather than purchase the full thing again when only the cover was required But 100 quid to replace the cover beyond belief , to find might aswell buy new for 99 quid , we did try other covers unfortunately the sizes are a no fit for the mc gregor one , they've ensured there's is just outside normal parrimiter s of most poly tunnels Presumably so you have to purchase from them !! Unfortunately you can't just get a replacement cover 🤦♂️ .. so id probably avoid after my term with this one. And use another that generally has the same diameters as any normal polytunnel in future, So a little gutted as its a good sized polly tunnels , hieght an width. It's just the problem of trying to obtian a cover cheaply if it gets damaged.

Good value and easy to erect
Although the instructions say it needs 2 people to erect, I did it by myself (5’6”) without any issue. Creates an amazing level of heat and humidity inside. Seems good value. My only caveat is that I added some extra pegs to hold the frame in the ground as don’t think the guy ropes are enough. Would likely need the cover removing during winter to prevent storm damage.

Ripped to shreds
Had this for a week at my allotment. First high wind ripped to shreds. Plenty of other similar polytunnels qithstood the wind no bother. Over £100 wasted!

Hello Una,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the McGregor Garden Large Tunnel Greenhouse.
It can be placed on concrete, but it is best to secure it with guy ropes to prevent it from being blown over by the wind. Accessories include wind ropes and plastic floor pegs.
If the greenhouse is placed on concrete, the other end of the wind rope can be fixed to the wall or fence. If the greenhouse is placed on the lawn, the wind ropes can be fixed on plastic ground nails
Thank you for using Q & A.
The frame is sturdy but the cover ripped at the seams within a few weeks and there is not enough skirt to bury properly. Save your money and buy a different brand as these things are too expensive to keep replacing every few weeks. My new cover was seventy pounds from somewhere else and it is much better quality. This polytunnel was not fit for purpose.
The cover will tear in the wind. It is not that sturdy when the storms come. Ive weighted mine down in the hope itll survive the winter.
The frame can, however I have found out that once the winds come on the autumn the cover tears at the seams, Im now having to find a replacement cover for this growing season, I should have just invested in a greenhouse because the covers I have found so far are nearly the same price as the tunnel kit!
