They are great and cozy, but not completely transparent and are a bit gray. The person I gave them to loved them though.

Great looking cups that keep your drinks hotter for longer. Downside is you won't get warm hands holding the mug, but I prefer a coffee that doesn't cool so fast

I would advice you not to put in dishwasher just rinse by had and the should be fine as far as I know there is know guarantee with these cups but I highly recommend them for hot coffee and cold drinks
