Is the GV9822GO worth a look. Yes it was for us.
My wife and I have had an earlier much older model of a Tefal steam generator iron. It was pretty good but the years had caught up with it, as they are with us. So with hope for an equally capable but more up-to-date iron we opted for the Tefal GV9822GO. It is very good at the task (making material flat) that we and all families have. Easy efficient ironing of any quantity of laundry. The lighter, agile iron moves easily across any weight of material. So easily as good as hoped for there. It’s early in our use of the new machine and even at this point we are delighted. Being older than we were when we bought the first Tefal steam generator it is a relief that the water storage tank is slightly smaller meaning that the carrying and storage weight is more manageable both now and into our future. All-in-all truly a great buy!

Tefal pro express vision iron
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What an incredible piece of equipment I absolutely hate ironing and this has just made me actually like ironing. It's very easy to use and gets all the creases out without having to put any effort in to it. I very highly recommend this product

Powerful and practical steamer and iron
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Tefal Pro Express Vision over the last few weeks, and overall it is one of the most satisfying ironing products I have used, especially if you regularly tackle piles of ironing or need a quick garment steam. The steam feels powerful and responsive, the smart technology means the iron knows when it is placed down on the board, steams, and the light automatically comes on. I have a pair of trousers which I have never been able to iron the crinkles out of, but I managed it with this product! I have also been able to use this product as a steamer on dresses I have hanging up in the wardrobe, which has saved me time and helped me manage the amount of ironing I would normally have to do. Overall, I would recommend this product to a friend and I am looking forward to using it on my spring clothes.

Probably the best iron I've ever used
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been trialling this iron for the last few weeks, and it's without a doubt the best one I've used. It comes attached to a large tank so there's no need to be constantly refilling the iron with water, and whilst it can seem bulky, it fits easily at the end of an ironing board. There are 3 main settings, Delicate, Normal and Max that you can use and there is a trigger on the iron handle that allows you to steam if needed, however there is also an Smart option that steams automatically when you are ironing. One function I really like is that there's a light on the front of the iron so you can see if you have missed a spot. When in use the iron just glides effortlessly over your clothes and I got my ironing done in a lot less time than normal. When not in use you can keep the iron in place on the base unit with a locking system so it is nice and safe. Finally the steamer function is great for touching up clothes. If you are looking for a new iron then I would highly recommend this.

A joy to use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This iron really was a joy to use made ironing so much quicker. the light is such a simple idea but makes a big difference. I would not use a iron with out one now. Having said that the light can be turned off. Can not fault the steam power and the tank is very easy to refill. I truly love this iron.

Excellent Steam Iron
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tefal Pro Express Vision GV9822 I have been using this iron for a number of weeks now so have had time to come across any pros and cons. Overall I am very happy with its performance. It really does take less time to iron the same amount of clothes as it did with my previous more traditional iron. The steam works very well at getting deep creases out of thick fabrics like denim and canvas. I like not having to fill up with water as often as my previous irons as the tank holds a very large amount. The light on the end/tip of the iron is actually much more beneficial than I thought it would be. I initially thought it was more of a novelty but now I wouldn’t be without it! I don’t know why more irons don’t have them. Having a large water tank does mean it takes up more space in my cupboard but I think all the other benefits make it worth it - I can’t think of any other negative points. Although it is very expensive I still think it is worth it for the quality, performance and speed.

Makes Ironing surprisingly enjoyable!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ironing system is unbelievable, the size of the box filled me with fear and the instructions were a little tricky to 1st understand but once set up and filled with water, it was so straightforward. There is nothing I don’t like about this system.. yes, you need a little space but well worth finding some. From the 1st item I was hooked .. The iron is lightweight and so smooth to use it glides over the fabric, the steam button is incredibly effective and sensitive. I also loved the vertical steam. I was wary of the thick cord, but you honestly don’t notice it, it’s a good length and doesn’t get in the way. I liked the light that comes on when you’re using it and the safety feature of switching off if not being used for several minutes. I live in a hard water area and the anti Calu is an absolute bonus! I ironed everything I could from shirts, jeans, T-shirts etc., to bedding and everything looked amazing and with little effort.. I cannot recommend this system enough..

Powerful steamer !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always had a conventional iron before so was really excited to try this. It has a base station that holds a reservoir of 1.8L of water which pumps high pressure steam through a cable to the iron. My first expression was how big the whole unit was, it has an auto shut off system which is great for safety purposes. It also has a eco setting which is a power conservation mode. The tank is removal and can be refilled when the iron is on, so no waiting for things to cool down. It’s a very powerful steamer, it gives out amazing steam pressure with just one button it gives you a big burst - you only need to go over things once and you’re done. The iron itself is very light to hold in hand, and the iron locks into the base when not in use which is ideal. It has a retractable cord which means no messy cables. It has different temperature which you can adjust for delicate fabrics, it’s anti scale system which also means no brown spitting on any clothes.

Honest Review Tefal Pro Express Vision I
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I’ve never had an iron in this price range before so I was interested to see how it performed. It looks very stylish and sleek and I was surprised at how light the iron felt during use. It glides effortlessly over garments and the addition of the light ment I could see exactly where I needed to concentrate my heat . It has features that I found very helpful . The display is clear showing when the iron has reached the required temperature for the garment . It has an anti calc feature ensuring a long lasting life to the iron which I appreciate . It has a sturdy construction and a handy clip in system to keep the iron safe on moving. My overall experience was excellent and I’d recommend it . The disadvantages of the iron are in my opinion as follows. It’s a large unit so you do need space to store this iron . This may rule it out for some. The instructions show the water tank being filled from a tap which is contrary to instructions and needs rectification. This is a beautiful iron

Powerful high pressure steam generator
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with this powerful steam generator iron, which makes ironing much easier and quicker. It's possible to iron with steam or without. I prefer to use it in smart mode with steam all the time. You can use it vertically for last-minute touch-ups and also boost steam to even the toughest wrinkles and creases. Only one for me could be the cord longer and more flexible.
