Purchased this from Argos who were excellent. This is after purchasing from another company and still trying to claim my money back after the item went missing in the post. Argos saved the day! Kettle is quick boiling, easy to fill and a has good pour. Ergonomics are good and the kettle is well balanced, this is helpful as the kettle is on the heavy side. Capacity is excellent and boils 1.8l quickly. The best part of this kettle is the temperature control and the kettle plays a little tune when at temperature. The keep warm function is excellent too, keeping the water at the selected temp for 20mins. It is a real looker and fits nicely with my other 50’s retro appliances, it’s a real timeless design. Overall thrilled with Argos service and my new Smeg appliance.
