The economic choice.
I had a range of reasonably priced kitchen knives which had gone blunt. Manual sharpeners weren't working for me so the choice was either better quality of knives or try an electric sharpener. The sharpener has given the knives a really good cutting edge so it looks to have been the right choice

Honestly? I think this made my knives more blunt!
Used it exactly as specified on semi professional chef knives which had previously been sharpened on a steel and found after the three part sharpening process the knives were actually duller than before. Suffice to say I took the sharpener back for a refund. Avoid!

Very effective knife sharpener.
Really effective electric knife sharpener. Transforms the kitchen experience after years of blunt knives and failure to improve them by other means. Only downside is that it can't really accommodate the shortest knife blade, which is only 6cm long. All the others are fine.
