Rejuvenated a TV whose system had become glitchy
Easy to set up, with speedy sign in to various streaming apps and simply operation. This has rejuvenated our TV which had become bogged and glitchy after various software updates over the last 3-4 years. Simple to use remote control that lets you easily do what you want to do. We were going to buy an extra Apple TV to carry out a similar function but this works as well at a third of the price.

Excellent and quality product
This unit was purchased to bring an old Panasonic TV into the smart tv age. No usb socket in the rear, coupled with a relatively weak Wi Fi signal, resulted in the purchase of this unit, rather than one of the other two in the ROKU range. What I like about it Works incredibly well and virtually no signal drop out since purchase. Silent in operation and the heating up of the unit that others have mentioned has not been a significant issue for me. Relatively easy to set up on first use. Improved quality of screen picture despite not being able to use the 4K functionality within the unit (TV was HD ready apparently) Can view live TV or catch up for all of the main channels (BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and 5) with ease What could be improved? Prior to purchase we relied on Freeview. There is less choice using the available apps, for example no Sky Arts, ‘Great’ TV channels or Hobbycraft TV (don’t ask!). Roku do not support Freely on their streaming sticks. If you haven’t used a particular app before then you have to create accounts etc. with each one before first use. Easier to do on your pc/tablet rather than on the Roku in my view. There is a live TV app or two, but their content does not particularly enthuse me (but you might love it) There is no once place that offers a guide to what is on each channel. You must go into each individual app to check. Summary The unit has revolutionised how we watch TV since its purchase and I would thoroughly recommend it. Its compact and easy to use and so long as you have a HDMI input it is a breeze to set up. If you use ‘paid for’ TV channels (other than the TV licence!) there is access to Netflix, Prime and WOW TV amongst others.

Fast and easy to use
I bought this as I wanted to watch a channel that I can't instal on my Samsung 7 TV. I had a Mi Stick at first but it was really slow and glitchy, it would stop and buffer every few minutes for the first half hour of use each time (?). This Roku stick is fantastic. Never buffers, responds quickly, has great picture quality, has an easy to use remote control (which came with batteries installed already) and was straightforward to set up (using a smartphone). Definitely more than worth the little bit more I paid for it than the Mi Stick.

Roku kit
This box contains the charger and lead to power the Roku if your tele has no usb port or insufficient charge rate, this kit eliminates that worry and provided your near to a free electric socket it has everything you need. We had to purchase a longer lead from Amazon because of where the tv was sited. Set up is easy but time consuming if you want to set up numerous streaming apps but strangely fun and rewarding. Picture and sound quality as good as my tv outputs and the remote and user interface is simple and effective . Incredible quality and value for money. Bought several now.

Great to update older tvs
Had an older TV that wouldn't update Netflix. Didn't want to fork out on new one so got this. Connect to WiFi and set up to use Roku remote. Works great. Plus no monthly fees to use unlike Amazon etc.Perfect solution defo recommend.
