One touch with total control - There are no buttons or dials on this hob. More heat when you need it - Power Boost is our smart, time-saving cooking hack. Want to boil your pasta water in less than a minute? Simply activate Power Boost to heat it much faster.
Easy Installation - Plug & Play hobs are designed to work off a standard plug & are the ideal choice for light usage households that want a basic induction hob. When multiple cooking zones are engaged, the power slightly diminishes, this may be inconvenient for larger households. If more power is required a hard-wired hob is recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't sure about having an induction hob,but after using it for a couple of weeks I'm impressed. It comes to the boil very quickly and it lowers the temperature just as quick to stop it boiling over. It's very easy to keep clean,just wipe with a damp cloth with fairy liquid and buff dry with a microfiber cloth. As my last hob was gas I didn't think I'd like it but I do. I can definitely recommend this induction hob.

Replaced a previous Bosch
I purchased this as I wanted like for like for my previous Bosch hob. The retailer said that it had a timer on it but it doesn't which my previous one did. However it is easy to operate.

The hob measures Height: 5.1 cm, Width: 59.2 cm, Depth: 52.2 cm. When installing above an oven, allow at least 20 mm clearance between the hob and the oven, and ensure proper ventilation at the rear or base of the cabinet.

In regards to the Bosch Series 2 PUG61RAA5B Induction Hob, we won't do any alterations to the current gas plumbing as that's not part of the install. We will fit an item into the existing set up only.

This hob can be hard wired. However only to a 16 or 20 amp supply. Typical cooker supplies are 32 amps. The wire isnt rated for 32 amp supplies.
Be very aware when buying this product with a 32 amp supply. Installer will refuse to connect to mains supply.
Using the 13amp 3 pin plug, performance is very limited when using 2 or more hobs.
