About this product
Our hobs are made to match your kitchen and lifestyle, thanks to the timeless design of Bosch. This Bosch induction hob has 4 cooking zones and 9-stage variable power settings for each zone allowing you to precisely adapt the heat with 9 power levels. Induction Technology - Induction hobs warms the pan and not the hob, so you get instant, precise heat. This means lower energy bills, more control over temperature when cooking and easier to clean afterwards.
One touch with total control - There are no buttons or dials on this hob. Instead, with a tap of a finger, you can turn on your chosen cooking zone, select your ideal temperature and even lock the hob to prevent any accidental changes. So, you'll be able to choose each setting with ease and precision.
More heat when you need it - Power Boost is our smart, time-saving cooking hack. Want to boil your pasta water in less than a minute? Simply activate Power Boost to heat it much faster.
Easy Installation - Plug & Play hobs are designed to work off a standard plug & are the ideal choice for light usage households that want a basic induction hob. When multiple cooking zones are engaged, the power slightly diminishes, this may be inconvenient for larger households. If more power is required a hard-wired hob is recommended.

Really happy with it

Fast hob, recommended
I bought this for my new house having had an induction hob in my last home. This is by far more efficient and speedier. It boils things much faster and when you turn the levels up or down, the change of heat output is really fast - much faster than my last hob. My last hob had a child lock on it which the cat keep activating in the middle of the night. Thankfully this doesn't have that. I never really saw the point as children likely to be able to reach the hob are old enough to be told not to switch it on. If you're new to induction hobs - welcome! You're unlikely to go back once you've made the switch. Much more energy efficient than gas and super efficient if you're replacing a hob or cooker more than 10 years old. Some of your saucepans might not work - but most are likely to. Best thing about this particular hob? It feels sturdy. Worst thing? The bleeps as you turn it on and change settings is quite loud. It will probably drive you insane if you live in a small flat! Others have mentioned that it's hard to see the settings. Not sure I agree. It probably depends on whether you use reading glasses and where your kitchen light is (it won't be helpful if it's directly behind you at night). I'd recommend this hob to anyone.

Good induction hob
Amazing product
Ernie
Poor
This hob has been nothing but trouble to be perfectly honest. It's hyper sensitive. Will react to the most minor splash of water or fat and instantly shut down, lock or protest. Whilst our previous Bosch induction was a joy, this has been a thorough disappointment. Having 'Boost' on only one hob makes it incredibly frustrating too. Most recently it did it's usual shut down and lock trick when a splash of water went on the console. It locked the whole thing. Couldn't get it back on for days. Tried switching off at the mains (on top of the usual processes). Finally unlocked this afternoon. Attempting a repair but would really prefer a refund and buy another better Bosch induction - one that doesn't react to a possibility of a reflection of a thought.

This hob can be hard wired. However only to a 16 or 20 amp supply. Typical cooker supplies are 32 amps. The wire isnt rated for 32 amp supplies.
Be very aware when buying this product with a 32 amp supply. Installer will refuse to connect to mains supply.
Using the 13amp 3 pin plug, performance is very limited when using 2 or more hobs.
