The Bosch Series 2 PUG61RAA5B Induction Hob brings smart technology to everyday cooking with a plug-and-play design that works from a standard socket. With 4 cooking zones and 9 power levels each, you get precise heat control whether melting chocolate or boiling a big pot. Induction heats the pan directly, so heat responds instantly and cleaning is easier. Touch controls sit at the front with no dials or buttons. Tap to activate a zone, choose temperature, and lock settings to prevent accidental changes.
Need speed? The Power Boost function boils water in under a minute, perfect when short on time. Residual heat indicators show which zones are still warm after cooking, adding safety and letting you keep food at serving temperature. The safety cut-off switches everything off if left unattended, giving peace of mind in busy households. Designed for light usage, the plug-in setup means power may reduce slightly when multiple zones run together, but it's ideal for smaller households wanting a straightforward induction hob. The hob, like all Bosch products, are excellent quality. The induction hobs are very responsive, easily controlled, easily cleaned and esthetically pleasing. Beautiful - But Handle With Care

The only down side is that it is not as forgiving as a stainless steel hob and three months on I have needed to replace it due to damage caused by dropping a heavy object onto it

Better than I expected
We recently redesigned our kitchen and realised that we would not have space for our gas hob so reluctantly decided it would have to go. Always been a gas cooking advocate so choosing an alternative which would be as responsive would need a lot of research. Needn't have worried - after a lot of positive reviews settled on an Bosch induction hob, quick immediate response, clean I love it. So if anyone is thinking about it I'd say go ahead.

The hob measures Height: 5.1 cm, Width: 59.2 cm, Depth: 52.2 cm. When installing above an oven, allow at least 20 mm clearance between the hob and the oven, and ensure proper ventilation at the rear or base of the cabinet.

This hob can be hard wired. However only to a 16 or 20 amp supply. Typical cooker supplies are 32 amps. The wire isnt rated for 32 amp supplies.
Be very aware when buying this product with a 32 amp supply. Installer will refuse to connect to mains supply.
Using the 13amp 3 pin plug, performance is very limited when using 2 or more hobs.
