I recently purchased this electric stove and I am very happy with it. The quality and detail of the fire is amazing. The flame effect and coal effect look so real. Better than a real fire, very cosy looking. Well worth the money that I paid for it.

Definitely recommend.
I recently moved house and wanted an electric fire to replace the central heating in my living room which was on almost constantly at the weekends. Electric stove
Brought this after we had our gas fire taken out. For the money paid it’s ok, I little bit cheap looking in places and finishes could be better. Front doors don’t open, handles look a little big for the stove and the silver centre button below the doors is stuck on and off centre

Yes this does stand on it's own.
Our supplier has advised that the Adam Woodhouse Electric Stove will need to be stood on a wooden or stone hearth, this cannot be placed directly on carpet as the heat from the fire comes from the bottom.
Electric fires are 100% efficient and have 2 heat settings of 0.9 and 1.8kw.
