Not waterproof
I googled 'waterproof mattress cover' & it came up with several. I ordered the £8 one, but when I opened it at home I found it wasn't 'waterproof' , so I took it back for a refund.

Having checked I can see this fit mattresses up to 30cm in depth and is secured with elastic straps. This would not fit a small double as it would be too large.

There is a twin needle stitch at the edge but is not piped. This product is 100% polyester cover with a polypropylene reverse.
