I bought this to protect the mattress on the sofa bed. It's not very thick but that made it perfect for the job I needed it to do and the price was reasonable.

Having checked I can see this fit mattresses up to 30cm in depth and is secured with elastic straps. This would not fit a small double as it would be too large.

There is a twin needle stitch at the edge but is not piped. This product is 100% polyester cover with a polypropylene reverse.
