Glad I chose this one
Looked at lots of solar water features and glad I went with this one as it looks really good on or off. I took someone else's advice and added some pebbles to the base which I think adds to it and personalises it. Needs a flat surface so put on my deck.

Relaxing
Bought this for my garden and love it, looks lovely the waterfall is relaxing and looks lovely at night when it lights up. Lovely little feature to my garden.

Looks good in the daytime.
Needs to be on a flat hard surface as the base is a 'shell' not a flat solid bottom and it must be level else the water doesn't trickle evenly. The main problem is that it needs sunlight to run the pump all day and to top up the battery for the evening (light), but if the sun goes in it automatically uses the battery. So, by evening the battery hasn't enough charge to keep the pump running let alone the light. You can turn off the pump during the day so all the charge goes into the battery, then the water and the light is very pretty. You pays yer money and takes yer choice!

The supplier has advised the following for the Gardenwize Solar Square Black Ball Water Feature:
“ The pump can be detached from the power supplied by the pump removing the cable from the back of the panel. During winter we would advise storing it away from the elements in order to protect the item. ”

If you turn the panel to off it will then store all power to the battery, the fountain will still continue on a direct sunlight basis
If at night, turn on the lights and water and this will then work on battery power.

The supplier has advised the following for the Gardenwize Solar Square Black Ball Water Feature:
"The solar panel is designed to charge during the day and provide light at night, however, you can change this by angling the panel away from sunlight and this will in turn switch the lights on. It is important to note though that doing so the panel will not charge."
