First Experience With A Steamer. Wasn't Good
I got this to potentially save time getting the ironing board out whenever I needed to iron a small amount of clothes the reservoir will only hold enough water for two items of clothing mainly t-shirts and even then it does a mediocre job of getting out the creases and it still doesn't look great when the the job is done so I think I'll be sticking to the iron in future

Good
So this really good but only upright. I got this to iron my bedding whilst on the bed, but it leaks water when used horizontal. Great for hung curtains and things on hangers

Hello Lilo,
The supplier has advised the following for the Russell Hobbs Steam Genie Essential 25591 Garment Steamer:
ā The Steam Genie Essentials 25591 can be used for freshening up the hard-to-wash items like rugs, curtains and pet beds but will not clean it. It will kill the bacteria but not clean stains. Additionally, please carefully read the User Manual and the Label on the mattress or such item before using the Steamer for such purpose.
If the mattress has the "do not steam" icon on it, the item should not be used on that fabric. ā
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi Gaz,
The Russell Hobbs Steam Genie Essential 25591 Garment Steamer can be quicker than ironing. Here are some key points:
Heat-up Time: The steamer heats up in just 45 seconds, whereas an iron typically takes a few minutes to reach the desired temperature.
Ease of Use: With no need for an ironing board, you can start steaming clothes directly on the hanger, which can save setup time.
Efficiency: For quick de-wrinkling, the steamer can be faster, especially for items like shirts, blouses, and dresses. It provides up to 10 minutes of continuous steam.
I hope this helps.
Thank you for using Q&A

I would say it would make a difference but probably not 100% crease free :) It seems to work best with light, natural fabrics such as linens and cottons.
