No it doesn't glow in the dark it looks nice, its big with gold numbers and a blue face the only thing is it is a loud ticker.

It does tick but it is not loud or intrusive. Certainly much quieter than my kitchen clock. Its audible in an otherwise silent room but you wont hear it over the tv.
