Great camera

For someone who spends much of the day on video calls, that reliability matters more than flashy features — and this webcam delivers where it counts. Easy setup and everyday use Setup was effortless. The Brio 500 connects through USB-C and is genuinely plug-and-play: I attached it to my monitor, plugged it in, and it was ready to use almost immediately without any complicated installation. The detachable clip feels secure and works well on both a monitor and a laptop, while the integrated privacy shutter is a small but valuable feature for peace of mind between meetings. In daily use, it is simple and intuitive. The camera autofocuses quickly, keeps me looking sharp when I lean forward or move slightly, and works seamlessly with the video-calling platforms I use for work. Logitech lists compatibility with Windows, macOS and Chrome OS, along with popular conferencing platforms, and the Brio 500 is certified for Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet. Video and call quality The image quality is a clear step up from a standard laptop webcam. It records at 1080p/30fps or 720p/60fps, uses a 4MP sensor with autofocus, and includes Logitech’s RightLight 4 technology with HDR to help maintain a clear image in challenging lighting. In practice, that means I look presentable even when my home office lighting is not perfect — whether it is a grey London morning or bright daylight behind me. The 90-degree field of view is useful for a typical desk setup, and Logitech also offers narrower 78-degree and 65-degree options, which helps reduce background distraction when you want the focus firmly on you. The built-in stereo microphones have also been dependable for everyday calls, picking up speech clearly at a normal desk distance. Why it works well for my workflow What I appreciate most is how unobtrusive it is. I can join a meeting, be seen and heard clearly, and get on with the conversation without troubleshooting camera settings or worrying about whether the webcam will behave. The 1.5m attached USB-C cable gives enough flexibility for a tidy desk setup, and the camera feels solid without being bulky. I also value that it stays connected alongside the rest of my setup, including when my phone is in use nearby. It integrates cleanly into a multi-device working environment without getting in the way, which makes it especially practical for someone balancing calls, messages and work across several devices. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. The Logitech Brio 500 is an excellent choice for professionals, remote workers, students and anyone who wants a dependable upgrade over a built-in laptop camera. It combines strong 1080p video, useful light correction, quick autofocus, a privacy shutter and genuinely simple setup in a compact, well-made package. For me, the best compliment I can give it is that it has made video calls feel less like a technical task and more like a normal part of the working day. Great product

I have had this camera for a few months and can say that I cannot fault it. It is easy to set up and has great camera quality, even with low light. I belive you can adjust some of the settings with the app but have not had a chance to try this.

Excellent camera.

I got this to replace another Logitech camera. What an upgrade. The 4k means it can follow your face in 1080p which mimics a far more expensive setup. Usual Logitech quality and excellent software. A worthy ‘top end’ of the spectrum camera.

Definitely not what I was expecting

Quite bulky and the zoom function is horrible. I have another webcam that cost me 4x times cheaper working a lot better…

Not suitable for MacBook Pro

Despite saying that it is, it isn’t. There is a very fiddly fix you have to go through via PC to get something other than a black screen.

Fantastic Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fantastic webcam, I do a lot of working from home these days and this makes my life much easier. The clarity of the camera is really fantastic, the HD most likely plays a big part. I also liked the fact that it was very compact and looks great too. In meetings I used to avoid putting the camera on wherever possible as it always looks grainy but I don't hesitate to put my camera on now. The auto light correction is fantastic too and is a really great feature. There are so many features on the camera it really is worth buying. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Logical Tech!

The Hd clarity is really impressive and alongside video calling it also has some great built in features such as auto-light adjustment! Really good value for an amazing boost to video calls

It's compact,beautiful,stylish,well designed,fantastic quality and works amazingly well.It may looked small but it's so powerful which makes it the best webcam I've used so far. Love all the features,especially the light correction and the show mode options.My laptop does have a webcam but I was always getting frustrated with it.But since I got the BRIO 500,life is much more easier.Work meetings go on smoothly and everyone have asked me which webcam I'm using.Now they all want the same one. It is straightforward to install,very easy to use and my experience with BRIO 500 so far is just fantastic.It helps me a lot everyday in my professional life as well as my personal one. I would definitely recommend it to everyone.Try it too and you'll love it as much as I do.
