This was a replacement for an ancient cordless phone, as we hardly ever use it the phone did not have to all singing and dancing. But I am very pleased with it and the features it has it was great value for money and looks smart.

Finding it a bit hard to hear phone ringing or to make out speech without pushing phone against my ear. Looked a specialist phones for the hard of hearing but thought I'd try this at a fraction of the cost. Quite surprised, it seems very good, cured the problems..for now.

I think this is an excellent product with many useful features I haven't encountered before, well worth it's low cost. Unfortunately few of these features are readily available due to unfathomable instructions. I have only got it working through trial and error. I suppose it could just be me.

I hooked this up to my full fibre router Vodafone router and works fine. Also works on traditional copper landline as I tried it at a friend's house. There is no answerphone though but it does store a few numbers in memory so basic but good

I can advise that you may change the volume of the call when using the VTech CS2000 Cordless Telephone - Single by clicking on the up and down arrows on the circular controls underneath the screen. You may also change the volume of the ringer by pressing the OK button and selecting this option from the on-screen menu.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the VTech CS2000 Cordless Telephone - Single: Yes, someone with a VTech CS2000 Base with single handset can register another handset of the same model to the base to then make it a twin handset phone.
The simple registration procedure is explained on Page 38 of the User Manual.

Yes, the VTech CS2000 speakerphone has a standard volume control feature. You can adjust the listening volume during a call by pressing the ▼ or ▲ buttons. Please note that the handset and speakerphone volume settings are independent. While it doesn’t have a specific setting designed for hard of hearing users, the volume can be increased to its maximum level, and you’ll hear two beeps when that limit is reached.
