Good hardware, rubbish software
I bought this for my 13 year old. She has an Apple Watch but is not allowed a Smart Watch in school, and she still wanted to count her steps. This does the job. The hardware is pretty good - I have no complaints there. It's the software that's pretty bad. Firstly you need to connect it to a Google Account. Inexplicably you can't link a child's Google Account to this Fitbit if you use the Google family thing. I had to create a new Google Account for her just for this watch. That took a while to work out. Another thing to be careful of is that the Fitbit app won't sync with Apple Health. You need to use another third party app to do that. It's a right pain. Anyway, it's all working now but I'm afraid to say that I have a very dim view of the design and testing around the Fitbit/Google integration. It's really ropey.

Great Fitbit
Bought as a replacement for my old Fitbit inspire and really pleased so far. Lovely colour and comfortable strap. Easy to connect up to phone. Battery lasts well too.

Bad product with terrible functionality
Bad product. If you have simple functionality requirements, such as a basic heart rate monitor or tracker, look elsewhere. Comfort and battery life are fine, but the interaction with the app and user customisation of the device are both dire. If you love getting random buzzing alerts despite disabling every automatic feature, then this may be the device for you. Sitting doing nothing? BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ *fire symbol*. After googling, apparently, there is no way to disable this either. The sleep tracker is not fit for purpose, regularly telling me I was asleep when I was awake and generally never capturing any useful information. This was bought mainly as a heart rate monitor, but only three of the 30+ faces actually show BPM on the screen (and of those three, only one would display). And then when I do exercise (the main time I need to know my heart's BPM) it will randomly "auto-detect" exercise (which I have disabled many times...) and decide to put a timer on the screen instead of the vital BPM from the heart monitor. Somebody please, make it make sense?! I regret buying this bad product, and all I can hope is that they will update the myopic and unceasing alerts. Bad product, avoid! Genuinely struggling to say anything good about this poor purchase. It's quite light and non-obtrusive maybe?

I bought this for my wife and she loves it. She found it was very easy to set up and you can keep track of your activities on your phone via the app. She says its very comfortable to wear and she wears it all the time now. the battery is long lasting to.

1. Tap the Today tab and tap Devices.
2. Tap your device image.
3. Tap Watch Preferences > Wrist Preference > Dominant or Non-Dominant.
