The Hoover HLE H8A2DE Heat Pump Tumble Dryer has a 8kg load capacity and comes with 14 programmes, including 4 clever sensor dry options and a Timed Drying function. Made with you in mind, this dryer has been designed to offer both style and practicality. The heat pump technology reuses any hot air that is normally lost to dry your load, making a heat pump dryer nearly twice as efficient a condenser dryer.
Featuring clever Sensor Dry technology, this product allows you to set the level of dryness you require and the dryer then switches off automatically when this level of dryness has been reached. Choose from Store Dry, Hang Dry and Iron Dry! This not only takes the best care of your garments, but also saves time, avoids over-drying, and is kind on bills, using just the right amount of energy.
This dryer comes complete with Wi-Fi Technology, so you can connect this machine to the Hoover app using your smartphone or tablet. This will allow you to download additional programmes, monitor cycles and run diagnostics checks on the machine.
The Anti-Allergy cycle dries while at the same time helping to reduce the main allergens such as dust mites, pet hair, pollens and residue of powder detergents.

It's 2 weeks old now, looks very efficient. Easy to empty water and clean filters. But the manual is very difficult to follow. It dries clothes well but the manual is so difficult to interpret we don't know if we're doing it the best way.

Great features
I bought this around a month ago and im really happy with it. The water drains into a container on the door at the end of the drying cycle and makes it so easy to empty.

Returning the dryer!!
I got this dryer to help save on energy however after 2 weeks I am returning it as I am not happy with it. It takes 2 to 3 attempts to dry washing even just 3 towels took 3.5 hours all in all to dry. I wouldn't bother!!

Dries well, easy to empty
Bought this because our 25 year old dryer had finally died. Took a while to understand the controls resulting in first lot of washing still damp. You need a GCSE to understand the programs and won’t even try the WiFi controls. But overall it’s a good dryer, easy to empty and clean the filter. Good idea having the tank visible in the door. Gave it 4 stars due to complicated controls

On checking I can see the manual advises:
Do not install the product in a low temperature room or in a room where there is a risk of frost occurring. At temperature around freezing point the product may not be able to operate properly: there is a risk of damage if the water is allowed to freeze in the hydraulic circuit (valves, hoses, pumps). For a better product performance the ambient room temperature must be between 5-35°C. Please note that operating in cold condition (between +2 and +5°C) might simply some water condensation and water drops on floor.
