Temperature Control
The temperature in my fridge does not match the recommended temperature when following the instructions on fridge freezer temperature guide. I try to set it at 4C but it does not go below 8C no matter what I try. My products in the fridge should be colder. I have tried everything, please advise. I use a thermometer to judge the inside temperature.

Another Bosch appliance in the kitchen
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fridge freezer - not Bosch - we've had for 23 years finally decided to stop freezing. I already have my second Bosch washing machine and first dishwasher in the kitchen and I know how reliable they are so that was my first brand choice. Then it was down to width, height and colour. I like a tall appliance, we were limited to 60cm wide and I wanted it in white. I then started to go through my options and my eye was drawn straight to this one. The previous appliance was a 50/50 split but we never filled the freezer and had too much in the fridge so a 70/30 split seemed ideal. When it arrived I was VERY impressed with the external look and the inside was an absolute dream. Within 24 hours the whole unit had been restocked - all the previous frozen food had to be ditched - and we now have a fully working appliance which looks great. It's very quiet when it's working which is a big difference from the previous one. I love the interior fridge light that comes brighter as the door is opened and there are two storage drawers in the fridge so I can keep mats and salad stuffs separate.

The freezer has three draws and is ample space for our needs. Very quiet running fridge/freezer. We have no regrets purchasing this model. The only small criticism is the open door alarm is very quiet

Great quality fridge freezer

Spacious and frost free
Likes: The fridge is very spacious inside and well designed. I particularly like the large cabinet for fruits and vegetables. The no frost design removes the hassle of defrosting the freezer. Last but not least, it comes with a beeping warning sound if the door is left open accidentally. Dislikes: None

Fantastic large fridge with normal size freezer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We wanted a larger fridge for our active household, we had enough freezer space already. This being just over 200cm tall with a larger fridge than normal gave us exactly what we wanted. Also being bosch we can relax for many years knowing its relaibilty ( we own several bosch appliances already ). We also swapped the doors to opposing side , takes 5 minutes but don't forget to also swap the sliding drawer runners inside which I nearly did. Fantastic fridge freezer.

Quality product - early days
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced a 20 year old bosch fridge and separate small freezer with this new fridge freezer. As with any change, the ease of set up is important, and in this case it was straightforward. The small wheels at the back of the unit certainly helped us get it in place a lot easier than we feared for such a tall unit. The alarm beeped for an hour or so whilst the freezer temperature was reached but otherwise it was easy and pain free. This was helped by the ease of access to move shelves around as we created the layout that worked for us. Not having to open the door more than 90 degrees to get shelves in and out was useful. Early days yet, but the 4 degree setting seems very effective and cooler than our old fridge.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Bosch KGN392WDFG Fridge Freezer - White: ''A minimum of 55mm is required to the side of the fridge that has the door hinges on to allow the door to open 90 degrees. A minimum of 30mm is required on the opposite side.''
