The Bosch Serie 2 KGN34NLEAG fridge freezer with NoFrost means no need to defrost your freezer. Place your fridge wherever you want, thanks to Perfect Fit, our freestanding fridge freezer range can be positioned right against side walls and furniture. The fridge freezer width corresponds to the niche dimensions.
LED lights bring a completely new lighting concept to fridges, guaranteeing even, glare-free interior illumination. LED lights use less electricity than conventional fridge lights and last an (appliance) lifetime.
The fan-assisted MultiAirflow System causes gentle, even currents of cold air to emerge at all levels of the chilling and freezing area, temperature fluctuations are minimised and cooling times reduced. FreshSense sensors constantly monitor and control the ambient, fridge and freezer temperature.
SuperFreezing function ensures that new food is frozen quickly and thereby prevents the other content inside the freezer from defrosting. As a result, frozen food keeps its flavour, even when new food is being added.

Good and quiet
The fridge is roomy and well lit, and I like the LED light fading up instead of coming on immediately at full brightness. The door bins are nice and wide and easily fit tall bottles in the bottom one and plenty of varied bottles and jars in the other two, plus egg boxes will fit in. There are a couple of things I miss that were in our old fridge freezer, including the box for cooked meats, but I retained it anyway. I could also wish that the freezer was a bit larger - it's listed as 50/50 split, but it's actually not quite. The positives are the glass shelves, which will be easy to keep clean, the large Multi box, and the air circulation in the fridge which means no more soggy vegetables. I'm pleasantly surprised by how well things keep. The freezer is much more efficient, and very quick to chill down to the right temperature - in fact, I couldn't believe it was so fast. In comparison to the 30 year old fridge freezer it's replaced (also a Bosch), it's much quieter (I kept checking if it was running for two days!) and things in the fridge are perceptibly cooler. On a cosmetic note, the silver finish is a nice change from the previous white, and it's a smooth and clean exterior. The doors require a positive action to close them, so a bit of a change to get used to, but not a problem. I look forward to not having to defrost it, because unfortunately the previous one never quite worked properly on that front, but I can't really complain because it did last for thirty years, so I was happy to buy another Bosch.

Having checked I can see the 5 year warranty covers defects affecting the appliance which are clearly attributable to material and/or manufacturing faults, provided they are reported immediately after being identified. This does need to be registered with the manufacturer and detail on how to do this come with the item.
