About this product
The Vax Spring Twin Steam Detergent gives you two 1 litre bottles of cleaning solution that works with all Vax steam cleaners. It's designed to do more than water alone, breaking down grease and grime faster while leaving a Spring Fresh fragrance. The formula kills 99.9% of harmful bacteria and keeps working for up to 7 days after cleaning, which is handy if you've got pets or high-traffic areas.
It works on all hard surfaces including floors and tiles, and helps neutralise odours as you clean. The twin pack means you've got a spare ready when you run out, and it's formulated in the UK specifically for steam cleaning. You just add it to your steam cleaner's tank as directed, and it works alongside the steam to give you a deeper clean without the need for separate scrubbing or harsh chemicals on their own.

Annoyingly this item was shown as an add on to the Vax Steam cleaner but it is NOT compatible so this was a waste of money.

Purchased as it had been recommended for use with Vax Steam Clean Multi Steam Mop. Had to be returned for refund as incompatible with that particular appliance.

Good detergent for steam mops.
I cannot recall how many times I have purchased this detergent for my wife, we have tiles in the kitchen and over the years she has used this product in her Vax steam mop if it was not any good my wife would not ask me to purchase it.

This is incredible product to use with my Vac's steamer heats up within a few seconds I have the upgrade version with all the extra cleaning tools for the grout oven racks and window mirror and carpet. This cleaning steam detergent cuts through grease smells great sanitizeres everything clearing out bad oders

Some of the answers say it is OK to use on a laminate wood floor. I left mine parked on a laminate floor but turned of . However, the heat in the mop base was enough to cause the laminate surface to bubble. My floor was suitable for heavy traffic use in a hall. It may be alright to use it cold but it may also depend on the quality of your laminate floor.

The cleaning solution is suitable for use with all Vax Steam Plus detergent models, we would therefore not recommend using the solution with steam cleaners which are not Vax.
