Not your standard G502
I'm a stickler for mice, and had several G502's over the years, I just can't get away from them as I'm so used to the button layout. However, after my recent G502's right button started to fail (it was 6 years old) I was hesitant on spending this much on a mouse because the standard G502's can be had for a lot less (but I had a voucher and other discounts and just needed to pick a mouse up that day, so just thought I'd use them). But let me tell you a few things, firstly the buttons are far faster reacting then the standard version, also the sensor although the same 25K hero sensor, is tuned to a 1:1 ratio, it feels far more responsive, it also has more DPI profiles on board. Then there is the battery, now I work from home and game from the same system, I'd probably average at least 9 hours a day at my PC, with the RGB on (and the RGB is very nice BTW) it took 9 days before it needed charging, but when it did need charging, it was an hour and then it was fully charged. Is it worth the high price tag? I'm not 100% sure on that, but it is far superior to the other G502's and to be honest I'm shocked Logitech didn't call it something else as it feels worlds away (other than the size and button placement) then the originals. Knocked a star off for cost compared to the non X Plus non wireless version being heaps cheaper.

Amazing!
The mouse does everything i need, especially with the changeable side button, multiple dpi profiles, then the lighting is super customisable, well done Logitech! Thank you argos!

Great, not even heavy
Everyone online cries about its weight but it’s truly not an issue, it’s far lighter than my g703 and is nothing like the colloidal original g502. It’s now the same body with very light weight. The buttons are very useful especially the ones near the click - I use my ping near the shoot so I can shoot and ping at the same time. I can slide dive prone, armour up ect all without my keyboard which makes my movement faster. My only complaint is I miss the original g502 scroll wheel cause the metal felt more unique and premium but the new design and lighting of the g502 x plus more than makes up for it. Battery life good, amazing sensor. You won’t notice a difference between this and a superlight. It takes usb C so very convenient no more micro usb . Overall the mouse is very nice weight, not too light to where it’s fidgety and not heavy at all to where it’s a pain, for me it’s perfect. I recommend you pair it with a Logitech or glass mousepad for extra smoothness.

Lovely light mouse
Bought this to use alongside a G515 keyboard. The LED’s are unnecessary but it was cheaper with them than without and they do allow for a nice Cylon / Kitt effect I suppose. The mouse itself is light and responsive. I’m using it on both a Mac and a PC and with the Logitech software it works equally well on both. Battery life seems great and after a couple of weeks use for some gaming and browsing it’s still around 75% charged. Quite pricey but worth it.

Great Mouse
Baught this to replace a logitech superlight mouse. Yes this weighs more than my superlight but this has many more features that I wanted. The infinity scroll is just superb, when locked for limited scroll it is a little noisy. The clicks are solid and fell realy nice. Responsivness is excelent. Pair this with the logitech power play system and you wont need to recarge the mouse. Great product.
