The De'Longhi Magnifica Evo brings bean-to-cup coffee within reach if you're new to automatic machines and want barista-quality drinks without complexity. This fully automatic machine handles the whole process, grinding fresh beans and delivering cappuccinos, lattes, ristretto, lungo, americano and latte macchiato with one touch. The integrated burr grinder offers 13 adjustable settings to dial in your perfect grind, while the strength selector lets you tailor each cup to mild, medium or strong.
Features that simplify brewing include a generous water tank with level gauge, 15bar pump pressure for rich crema, and a manual steam wand that froths milk for creamy cappuccinos or flat whites. Great reliable machine
These DeLonghi automatic coffee machines are superb. I have just replaced my original one after 10 years of faultless daily use. The only reason I did not give the new one 5 stars are the appalling instructions, if this is your first coffee machine ignore the instructions and spend some time on YouTube. Once you know what to do it becomes very simple. In fact, the hardest thing is finding a really good coffee to use. You should have years of trouble free coffee making and will never go back to instant coffee.

I bought this machine in August 2025. After much deliberation, i decided to go with this model and its absolutley fantastic. At first the descaling cycle was a bit tricky to get my head around, but its no bother now. Very easy to maintain and i do experiment with different coffee beans, but each make a brilliant coffee or latte. A very good steam wand too.

Excellent first Bean to Cup coffee machine
Bought this machine a month ago and am really delighted with the coffees I’ve had since. I tend to have black coffee so no need to use the milk steam wand yet but the machine itself was super easy to install and the video instructions are perfect. Argos had the best price for the model and click and collect t worked perfectly for me as I ordered and collected the very same day. Couldn’t be happier with the purchase or the service

The supplier has advised the following for the De'Longhi ECAM290 Magnifica Evo Bean to Cup Coffee Machine:
Mugs and cappuccino glasses can be used; however, taller cups and glasses e.g. for a latte, will need to be tilted. With the coffee spouts pushed up to the highest position, the gap between the drip tray and the spouts is 13.5 cm so it’ll fit a cup of up to that height without needing to tilt it. The width of the cup/mug is less important with the main factor being that it will really need to fit on the drip tray safely (and also that, if not or if you do need to tilt it due to the height, that it has a handle that allows you to hold it safely).
