Good medium size chest. Depth is also medium but the drawers run well and there a good number providing separation.
The lid selected down locks the drawers from being opened (if closed). Lid stays up in nearly open and open positions without the need of a prop.

Hi Bobby,
Yes, the Hilka 9 Drawer Tool Chest is slightly smaller than the Hilka Heavy Duty 5 Drawer Trolley with Ball Bearing Slides, so it will fit on top.

I've checked to see and it's not designed to be left outside or stored outside.
Hello, thank you for the question. I can confirm all of the drawers do lock. They are all controlled by the top lock. When locking the drawers ensure all are fully pushed in so the locking mechanism can engage all drawers. Thanks, Hilka Tools
