All good, by and large. My one tip would be don’t take your eyes off when reeling the flex in as it has a tendency to wrap around the frame rather than the wheel. Easy to manoeuvre and lightweight.

I'm so happy that I bought this extension cable, the extra length is perfect for my needs and will reach almost to the bottom of the garden. Also, having four sockets is a great help and the surge protector is a welcome safely feature. The case is hard wearing and durable.

As long as you're not constantly winding & unwinding the cable in extremes of temperature there shouldn't be any negative results to keeping the reel in the garage.
Extremes of temperature would tend to be a little below freezing point (around zero to -5°C) to somewhere above 35-40°C.

The plug is a standard rewirable model, so yes it is quite easy to remove from the cable by simply undoing 6 screws (1 for the top cover, 2 for the cable clamps, and 1 each on the 3 pin terminals), then reattach it when you're ready.

Our supplier says "We have never made any surge protected cable reels (nor have we seen any from other manufacturers), all of our surge protected products are of a straight or back-to-back extension design and usually only a meter or two in length"

This cable reel is rated for a maximum constant power flow of 10A (2400W / 2.4kW) fully unwound or 3A (720W / 0.72kW) partially or full wound onto the reel, so if your Lazy Spa consumes less than the applicable amount of power it should be a suitable load.
