First class
The Masterplug 3 way adapter is first class. We bought two which we are glad of and if we needed any more we would not think twice about getting them from Argos. They are very neat and don’t take up as much room as ones with a cable but I know you sometimes need a cable. Anyway these suit us down to the ground.

A good solid adaptor with sockets vertically orientated so it will accommodate bigger items than just a 12v plug. The separate switches for each plug, complete with a light when on is an added bonus. Good price and service from Argos in Wrexham.

The three-way individually switched adapter is working reliably, safely, and efficiently. It is very useful to have the three switches so that devices can be switched off individually to stop them drawing any power without unplugging them. Solid adapter with individual socket switches
I needed an adapter for a single socket in my bedroom to accommodate a bedroom lamp, charger and now winter is here an electric blanket. This was a good price and I like that each extended socket has its own power switch. The socket is behind a bedside table and the switches on the adapter make it easier to turn each one off or on as I need.

As sockets are situated on either side of the adaptor you may lose use of one of these because of close interaction with the plug in the other wall plate socket (unless they are spaced far enough apart to prevent this, which would be a little unusual for UK double socket plates).

“ The total amount is 3120 watts as per the fuse that is fitted, this is shared between the 3 sockets and should not be exceeded. ”

The supplier has advised the following for the Masterplug 3-Way Individually Switched Adaptor:
We’d have to advise no for a couple of reasons. (This is also not tested to be used in this way either). A 2-pin adapter will have a 2990w capacity and the 3 way unit could be setup with 3 x 3200w devices that would overload/blow the fuse.
Also the unit is bulky so, if connected to an adapter at one end and a 13A plug device at the other end, it may be too heavy for the wall socket and lever out.
