Need to replace my old slow charger and looked at all Argos options. This 1 Hour Energizer stood out due to charging time and ability to charge less than 4 batteries at a time. I was slightly sceptical that this was possible but sure enough you can charge One, Two, Three or Four batteries as you require - really handy with single battery clocks, mice etc as I don't have to wait to get a group together before charging. The LED indicator of charge state actually does work and ONE HOUR is maximum time needed for any I have put in.
Getting 4 batteries with the unit was icing on the cake.

Bought a replacement for my previous 1 hour charger. I also need to sometimes charge an odd number.ber of batteries which this will do. My only concern is that the batteries supplied get very hot when charging and make odd noises. My original batteries, which are vented, stay cool and don't make bubbling noises. I'm not sure how long batteries will last charged at heat.

Does charge batteries quickly, but you need to keep an eye on it as it overheats. You would have thought for the price they could have incorporated an automatic cutoff.
