I am very disappointed in the battery charger they don’t charge properly my fairy lights. The first time I put them in, not as bright as standard batteries. On the second charge put them in and in 5 minutes they were dead I follow the recharge instructions.

I needed a replacement charger after my previous Energizer one died. This is alright even if it takes fewer batteries and costs more money. That's inflation I guess.

The Energizer universal charger will actually charge all brands of NIMH (Nickel metal hydride) rechargeable batteries. 18650 batteries are Li-ion batteries and so are not suitable for use with this charger.

While most chargers will charge any brand, to hold the warranty it's suggested that you only use the brands that they allow you, in this case Energizer.

“ Our chargers are designed for 1.2V NiMH batteries only so cannot comment on their suitability for charging other battery chemistries or voltages. ”

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Energizer Universal Battery Charger: The universal charger will charge either 2 or 4 AA, AAA, Cs or Ds at a time. These need to be in pairs. Or you can charge a single 9V or 2 at the same time.
