About this product
This Candy heat pump tumble dryer from the Smart range has an 8kg capacity and comes with 14 drying programmes to choose from, including rapid drying options. You can also use the Timed Drying function, which will let you set the cycle for a specific amount of time. Perfect for a medium sized family, this dryer has been designed with style and practicality in mind.
This dryer comes complete with One Touch Technology and you can connect this machine with your android smartphone. This will allow you to add additional programmes, monitor cycles and run diagnostics checks on the machine.
The clever Sensor Dry technology allows you to set the level of dryness you require and the dryer then switches off automatically when this level of dryness has been reached. This not only takes the best care of your garments, but also saves time, avoids over-drying, and is kind on bills, using just the right amount of energy.
Choose from four drying Levels out of Iron Dry, Extra Dry, Cupboard Dry and Hanger Dry, so your cycle can reach the exact level of dryness required.

Candy heat pump dryer
We have used this 3 times now. it creates so much condensation that we need to leave nore windows open than when we had a vented dryer. The efficiency you are supposed to get from a heat pump is completly lost by having to let all that cold air into the house

Having checked the manual I can see this states:
Do not install the product in a low temperature room or in a room where there is a risk of
frost occurring. At temperature around freezing point the product may not be able to operate properly: there is a risk of damage if the water is allowed to freeze in the hydraulic circuit.

You are able to just plug the machine into the electric socket and go, as there is a container that collects the waste water that can be manually emptied. Please see the link below with the manual:
