Does the job
Used it for first time today. I would say it does the job but you have to put quite a bit of pressure on it to move forward.

Shocking quality again from Argos
Bought as needed to do a job I’ve done a thousand times before. Grass was soft and watered no weight way being applied to the product then 5 mins in the weld snapped. Honestly think ova glue would have been better.

Garden Lawn Aerator
We purchased this as new owners of a badly kept back garden grass lawn. We have used it on the area and are in the process of trying to regrow grass in areas that were badly affected with moss. So far it appears to be working as the aerator has sufficent weight to dig in and loosen the soil, We cant say much more till we see if the grass is going to grow. It is a strong well made piece of kit.

Thank you for using Q&A.
Hi MsSceps,
Yes, a lot of people get confused about the differences between a aerator and a scarifier because they have an almost identical function.
A scarifier has knife-like steel blades attached to its cylinder. They remove the moss and debris in much the same way as a aerator.
Thank you for contacting Q & A
