About this product
The Habitat Ewell Desk gives you a dedicated spot where work and study feel that bit more organised. There's a spacious worktop for spreading out your laptop, papers and notebooks, so you've got room to think. A built-in shelf keeps a lamp or frequently used books within easy reach. One drawer with wooden runners gives you storage for stationery, chargers and everyday bits you want close by. The warm walnut finish and classic angled legs bring a midcentury-inspired look that works in home offices, bedrooms or living spaces.
The solid wood and smooth finish stand up to daily use and wipe clean after busy days. Rounded edges add safety and soften the shape. The desk holds up to 50kg across the worktop, supporting your monitor, printer or accessories comfortably. There's 73.2cm of space underneath, enough room for most office chairs to tuck in neatly. Wall-mounting brackets are included because it's over 60cm high; securing it prevents tipping and keeps it stable. A one-year guarantee is included, and it arrives flat-packed with clear instructions for one-person assembly.

Great desk!
I love the wood and style of the desk. It was easy to ensemble and it's good quality and sturdy. If it were up to me I would increase the height by 5 cm. I am 170 cm, so for any normal length adult it's a bit on the low side.

Nice design desk but poor quality
Not the best quality, I knew it was a painted finish to look like walnut, but the finish paint and lacquer is patchy in places, especially around and under the shelf where it is lighter in colour and the lacquer doesn't actually cover the surface. The drawer was also broken when unboxed, front had snapped off - I was kind urgently in need of the desk so glued it back together. I would expect better packaging though. The desk itself is a nice design, and it does feel like solid wood. Bit pricey at the £250 mark for the quality received.

Great quality product and good value for money
Bought a few weeks ago, after looking for a while for a desk that suited what I was after. The colour is great and the wood nice quality. It’s pretty sturdy and feels more expensive that it is. Would recommend

Habitat Ewell 1 Drawer Desk
I purchased the desk and it was swiftly delivered. It was delivered faulty the first time however online customer services was helpful and organised for it to be collected. They couldn’t organise a replacement as it came up with unavailable however was available to reorder. This was a pain. I reordered and the second one came with a small crack in, which I was discounted £26. There is also a safety catch in the draw which keeps catching on anything in the draw, I have had to remove this. I was happy enough to keep the desk but disappointed overall. Was easy enough to assemble.

Good quality stylish desk
Very happy with the desk. It is of good quality and easy to assemble. My only complaint is the amount of polystyrene used as packaging which is non-recyclable. Please use recyclable options in the future.

Ordered and delivered same day. The desk is heavy in a good quality way. Was super easy to assemble. The shelf makes it easy to place items, but a little too thin for my monitor or laptop. However I made it work. Style is exactly what I’m looking for, and for the price, good for a mid century modern style furniture. I would say the drawer is also in the smaller side. Can’t really fit much but not needing a lot of storage. Good size desk overall. Nothing too large or small
