Reception problems solved.
This ariel works better than any indoor aerial I have ever tried, I was going to replace the broken aerial on the roof but now I'm thinking what's the point. It also works for HD channels but placement becomes more critical as I expect will weather and transmitter distance/obstructions. I bought an extension cable but didn't need it as both power and signal cable lengths are sensibly long.

I already had this aerial and I was so pleased with it when I needed a new aerial for another TV I didn’t hesitate to buy this one. It has always worked perfectly even if I move around or disturb it which no other indie serial ever has.

This aerial doesn't require an internet connection. The reference to 5G is mobile 5G interference and this will block it out from the signal being received for Freeview.

The supplier has advised the following for the One For All SV9440 Amplified Indoor TV Aerial:
“Yes, the antenna can help move the TV to the opposite side of the room from the wall aerial, but it depends on the length of the coaxial cable and the signal strength in that location. Since the antenna is not wireless, it needs to be physically connected to the TV via cable. You may need a longer coaxial cable or an extension to reach the new position.”

However, this will depend on distance to you transmitter and any obstructions in between.

The One For All SV9440 Amplified Indoor TV Aerial is a multi-position aerial that can be positioned standing next to your TV, with the included foot. Or mounted directly to the wall; mounting materials are included. It doesn’t have a sticky backing, so you don't stick it directly to your TV.

This will do only digital TV (Freeview) channels. The UK no longer transmits an analogue terrestrial TV signal.
