A good idea in principle but in reality unless the rain is coming down direct from above the washing will still get wet.

I purchased this Rotary Air Dryer
After only a couple of weeks the Plastic wiring started coming undone. In more than 1 place. The idea of having the Plastic sheeting over the top appealed to me. Sorry I cannot recommend this item

Rain no longer stops washing day
Initially had second thoughts about this, as it seemed like a right faff to try and get cover on when rain threatens. However, then i read the instructions and realised you are supposed to leave the cover on all the time. Game changer! ...Great product. It has protected my washing from thundery downpours, sun bleaching and also passing birds.

Brilliant with the great British weather If I suspect rain on the horizon I can still hang my washing and go out. Obviously we are talking about light showers. Holds a couple of loads of washing easily without a squish

Decent airer, happy with purchase
I bought this with 50% off and feel it was a great bargain, it is easy to put up and down and the rain cover is easy enough to remove, although a bit trickier to put on. It would probably be quicker just to take the washing in than put the cover on if it rained. However, if unsure of the weather leave it on and no problem. Had trouble getting the spike into the ground but I that’s more to do with our garden being a thin layer of topsoil over what appears to be building waste (new build problems).

Argos Home 45m 4 Arm Rotary Airer with Shower Cover.
Although, it is not necessary you can use concrete. It comes with instructions on how to do so. You fit the spike into the hole when it is filled with the still wet concrete and you would need to leave it 48 hours or so before use to allow it to dry.
