About this product
This wireless WIFI OBD II code reader from Streetwize helps to determine the main reason why your vehicle's engine light is showing. This device sends Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) straight to your smartphone via a specially designed OBDII reader app. The device provides both generic and manufacturer specific codes as well as live engine data via compatible apps. It also determines the malfunction indicator lamp status and it reviews emission readiness status. Compatible with iOS and Android mobile phones/tablets, Windows PC and Macs.
To operate this device, download and install an OBD II reader app onto your devices. Then link the wireless reader to the app over your smartphone's WIFI connection.
There are many free and paid apps to choose from. Take some time to research these apps and pick the app that meets your needs.
The device will work with all OBD II certified vehicles from 2001 onwards (including CAN). Not compatible with motorcycles and hybrid and electric vehicles. Please note: Your vehicle must be switched on for the device to be picked up by your smartphone's app.

Customers Say
The OBD2 scanner is compact and works well for diagnosing car issues, but users report frustrations with app compatibility and the need for subscriptions for full features.

Works and good value.
works well for me - but is an older model of an ELM327 clone and probably wont work with some modern scanning software. For me it worked well with Forscan Lite on iphone.

Please do not buy it
It is rubbish. And waste of money. Once you buy the device you have to buy subscription for a year.it will cost you more than the other devices.

Car fault code scanner
Excellent bit of kit, works very well. Only dropping one star in the design category due to it being difficult to remove from my car's OBD2 port. It's a very compact device and the sides are smooth with nothing to grip on, I would recommend the manufacturer add ridged edges for the next version. That being said, it was nothing a small flat head screwdriver couldn't overcome and overall very satisfied with this product.

Works ok
Decent for the price, does not work on my android phone but works with my mac. Was able to diagnose the engine warning light and get an error code.

Brilliant
Bought this scanner a few weeks ago because my check engine light came on. I was able to diagnose the problem in ten minutes after setup. Saved me going to the repair shop for it was a simple fix.
