About this product
This wireless WIFI OBD II code reader from Streetwize helps to determine the main reason why your vehicle's engine light is showing. This device sends Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) straight to your smartphone via a specially designed OBDII reader app. The device provides both generic and manufacturer specific codes as well as live engine data via compatible apps. It also determines the malfunction indicator lamp status and it reviews emission readiness status. Compatible with iOS and Android mobile phones/tablets, Windows PC and Macs.
To operate this device, download and install an OBD II reader app onto your devices. Then link the wireless reader to the app over your smartphone's WIFI connection.
There are many free and paid apps to choose from. Take some time to research these apps and pick the app that meets your needs.
The device will work with all OBD II certified vehicles from 2001 onwards (including CAN). Not compatible with motorcycles and hybrid and electric vehicles. Please note: Your vehicle must be switched on for the device to be picked up by your smartphone's app.

Very easy to use
Bought this in a panic 2 days before my MOT as a warning light came on. Turned out to be a quick fix and this helped not only to detail the fault but also cleared the fault once I had fixed the issue. Saved me a lot of hassle and money.

Does the job
Little bit difficult to setup and navigate, but it does what it says on the tin. I was able to read and remove a fault code on my car through an app on my phone.

Handy little device
Spot on for general scanning and identifying issues and seems compatible with quite a few different apps! Handy to keep in the glove box of my car especially as it seems to like to throw codes at the most frustrating times!
