I bought these because I needed one new bulb for a three bulb fitting. Ended up buying two packs so that all the bulbs could be replaced. Light looks fabulous with three new bulbs in.

Using LED bulbs in a lava lamp is generally not recommended. Lava lamps typically require halogen bulbs because they generate the necessary heat to melt the wax inside the lamp. LED bulbs do not produce enough heat to properly operate a lava lamp.
