Ok but definitely could be much better
Bought to replace my broken Bodum cafetiere but it isn't as good. There is a bit too much space around the plunger and filter so there is no resistance and more of the residue gets through compared to my previous Bodum models. Also haven't been able to find replacement filters in the right size so has a much shorter life span than it should.

Great cafetiere
Works perfectly, the plunger feels like it will let coffee through as it's very easy to plunge but it plunges easily and doesn't let the grounds through. Some people have complained the glass has cracked when they put hot water in - you should never pour boiling water on coffee anyway, it should be off the boil, the glass wouldn't crack then. This is a great cafetiere at a good price.

The Glass can be removed from the frame, so keep this in mind when washing/carrying. It could potentially fall out if you turn it upside down to shake grounds out. It will probably go rusty in a couple of years if not carefully dried each time and the glass doesn't seem as thick or tough as my other one. But it is very good value.
