Heavy handed
Big mistake buying this item unseen. Far too heavy and that’s without water.

Morphy Richards 303140 Turbosteam Steam Iron
This iron ticked all the boxes for us, it has a long cable, it irons my notoriously difficult to iron 100% cotton very thick Edinburgh Woollen Mill T-shirts - needs the highest heat setting and the steam boost on full tilt in order to do this. One thing is with the dark colour and the extra markings on the temperature dial between the 1,2 and 3 dots make it difficult to see the temperature without your reading glasses.

Hi Annie, we would always recommend using deionised, demineralised, or distilled water. Thanks, Izabel
Hi, to reduce limescale damage we would always recommend using deionised, distilled or demineralised water. However, with softened water this is less of a risk. Thanks, Izabel
Hi, thank you for your question. This iron does have a built in self-clean system designed to keep the water valve, steam chamber and steam vents clear of lint and loose mineral deposits. I hope this helps. - Izabel
Hi there, Filtered water will be fine to use in a hard water area. Thanks, Izabel
