Great features
I love this iron, yes it's a bit weighty but I think this helps with the ironing, I bought two before this one but had to return them because the leads were too short, ( it didn't say how long on the box ) this one however comes with a 3 Metre lead, much better, I must admit I've only used it twice so far but so far so good.

Great iron with limited availability of spare part
Recently purchased my second Turbostream 2800W iron of 2025 as the first one fell on the floor and cracked a plastic rear end cover that MR could not supply as a spare part. So whilst the iron is great and does a very good job the availability of a wider range of spare parts needs to be considered to allow items to berepaired and minimise customer expense and use of natural resources

Thank you for your enquiry,
We do not recommend the use of Soleplate protection covers with any of our products.
All of our irons have a ceramic soleplate, which helps prevent snags and sticking to clothes.

Hi, thanks for your question. The soleplate is Pristine Finish Ceramic. - Izabel
Hi Annie, we would always recommend using deionised, demineralised, or distilled water. Thanks, Izabel
Hi, to reduce limescale damage we would always recommend using deionised, distilled or demineralised water. However, with softened water this is less of a risk. Thanks, Izabel
Hi, thank you for your question. This iron does have a built in self-clean system designed to keep the water valve, steam chamber and steam vents clear of lint and loose mineral deposits. I hope this helps. - Izabel
Hi there, Filtered water will be fine to use in a hard water area. Thanks, Izabel
Hi Pinky,
The manufacturer advises: To reduce limescale damage we recommend using deionised, distilled or demineralised water, available at most large supermarkets. This is particularly important if you live in a hard water area.
