Good features and worth the price.
I bought this about 3 weeks ago and have only just fitted it. I am amazed at the quality. It fits a deep mattress perfectly. The thickness and softness of the blanket is like having a heated mattress topper. Far superior to the old model. I was sceptical at first, because it's mainly pre-programmed, with an over riding feature. The blanket warms up perfectly on the automatic and quite quickly. I am delighted with it so far and hope it lasts as long as the old one it's replacing. I would like to add that I have now been using the blanket and it is fantastic. It keeps the bed warm and us during the night with NO cold spots Worth the money.

Exactly what we wanted
We bought this heated mattress cover or underblanket to replace a very old one. I was worried this one wouldn't be as good as the previous one but it is absolutely perfect. Very comfortable, extremely quick to warm up the bed, lots of different settings so you can choose exactly the temperature you want. Dual controls so you won't fight with your partner because he thinks it's too hot or too cold. And won't come off because it's fitted.

A comfortable and effective mattress cover design
I bought this mattress cover a couple of weeks ago to replace a cover that, although still working, had cable covers that were beginning to split. It fits our king mattress beautifully and, unlike the previous cover, does not move across the mattress during use. The controls are easy to use and the initial warm-up function works very well. Can recommend without reservations.

Heats up super fast. Perfect for the forgetful
We have already owned this model of electric blanker for over 10 years but the old one eventually stopped working, so I read many reviews of different models. In the end however, I ended up buying the same type despite the fact that it may not heat up so evenly, has no separate foot pad and costs a bit more to run. Why? Because it heats up super fast! Stick it on full power and it will be toasty hot by the time you have brushed your teeth and put on your pyjamas. Other blankets, you have to remember to put them on 15 or 20 mins before bedtime, which means an extra trip upstairs and you are likely to forget, which means the misery of a cold bed. Not so with the Dreamland. It will be warm before you know it and, once in bed, you can turn it off again after about 10 mins. So it hardly uses any power anyway. I'm sure there are many great features about other blankets, but for sheer convenience, this is the one! Any Dreamland employees out there, glowing in the good review: The controllers feel a wee bit more plasticky than the old ones. Cutting corners is not always a good thing...

Worth having
Looked at a heated under blanket for the last couple of years. Could I justify that I needed it? Well as the cold nights started and after a bit of research this one came tops. It has a fitted skirt so stays in place and not really moved. Its very soft and plush.You can't really feel the heated wires however I do put a mattress protector on top just to save washing it too frequently. Due to the detachable plugs it can be washed. Quick to heat up, I tend to put it on 6 for about 10 mins, then all toasty. Looking forward to some colder nights.

I bought this a few weeks ago so I haven’t actually had the need to use it yet. Checked that it’s working and checked condition. It looks to be lovely quality. I’m sure I’m going to love it once it’s on the bed.

Yes, it is possible to use their heated mattress blankets on an adjustable bed, provided that you use two single units instead of one double unit.
For the bed to function correctly, each side of the mattress must be able to move independently.
Therefore, the bed should not be covered by a single, large mattress protector. Instead, each part of the set must be free to adjust without being restricted by the fabric.
By using two separate single units, each side will have the necessary freedom of movement to rise and lower as needed.

It is possible for the user to perceive different temperatures in certain areas, as the warmth felt in the sections where the heated throw/blanket is in direct contact with the body is greater.

The supplier has confirmed that the dual control heated mattress protectors have 2 controllers, one for each side, which work independently from each other.
Each controller requires its own plug socket. The connection for each controller is at around shoulder level on each side.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Dreamland Electric Mattress Protector DualControl-King: This should not be used by an incontinent person unless a waterproof sheet is placed over it.
While the product features waterproof insulation, this protection only applies when the controller is disconnected and is intended solely for washing purposes.
For safety reasons, the sleeping environment must always remain completely dry to ensure the blanket operates properly and safely.
