Very pleased with Argos Home XXL Charcoal BBQ
Purchased a few weeks ago I have had several cooking sessions on my new BBQ and I'm very pleased with it. I managed assembly reasonably well despite age and mobility issues. It is a bit heavy for me to move but the 70+ wife can manage. Solid construction and I've enjoyed using the hood with temperature indicator. Easy bbqing with instant light charcoal. Just need an auto clean system 🤣.

Really good for the money!
I originally wanted something a little different but let's face it, at the moment most bbq's have the same look. This looks just like our old one only this has the cast iron cooking rack and is much bigger. For the price I am quite surprised. The cooking area is huge. Most similar bbq's are 250 or more so this is a steal at 180. Took a little while to assemble but is quite simple and instructions are clear.

Excellent to cook on
Fairly easy to put together (need a third hand though)…. Have used a few times now and is excellent to cook on. Overall I am pleased with the BBQ but it does have a couple of downsides….one of the panels was warped slightly and causes the cover to pull left/right through the temperature changes (easily fixed with a little DIY though) and the collection tray collects water if left out overnight, no real fix for this….. as stated however, overall I am pleased.

A proper BBQ
Messed about with small babecues all my life and thought we'd splash out, great job,at first regretted it wen started to assemble as it took over an hour but once we used it absolutely no regrets,cooks evrything at once and plenty storeage space,great price offer at 180, i saw smaller ones in shops at 250,only be careful wen moving it wen built ,its got a strange centre of gravity and will fall over if you lift it too high on wheels

Having checked I can see the maximum amount of any coal to be used is 1.5kg. Excess charcoal will
make the BBQ too hot for cooking.
