Our other strimmer broke so my husband decided to bug one. Look foot but not the best. Until he put a metal blade. OMG when I was using it almost took my foot off so I bought this on it’s a really good stripper especially for the garden I think in any size but we were happy for year with the old one that broke but this is better than that I should have gone cordless, year ago it’s brilliant easy to handle does a fantastic job battery last well and so so light I would recommend this to my friends.and family or anyone it’s so good

A very good strummer from a reliable Spear a Jacks
Spear and Jackson have always been a reliable garden tool maker and this strimmer is no exception. Robust reliable and a sol8d design. The only thing I would have liked is a fixed cutter blade rather than a cord system or at least an adapter to be able to convert it. A good machine at a good price.

Strimmer review

Great little item
Never would I buy a motorised strimmer again. This strimmer strims my lawn edging that’s 40metres wide and 16metres deep, it strims all this with a very thin cord and still 3/4 of power left in battery. No more worries about will or will it not start.

Easy to assemble and even easier to operate.
I bought this item a few weeks ago and it is exactly what was needed. Makes the task of mowing the lawn and tidying the garden so much easier - a pleasure even!

Great strimmer just a shame about the battery life
I've had this strimmer all the way through the summer. It's a brilliant strimmer. It's not one of those where the nylon trimmer constantly snaps on you. It's a good hardy little thing. However, I have to mark it down slightly on the battery life because it doesn't last that long, I get 2 cuts which is probably around 30-40 minutes of usage.
