great features and easy to use
I brought this item a couple of weeks ago and found it was easy to assemble, was light and cuts beautifully. the charges as lasted for 35 minutes so far and i have not charged it yet, it feels very stable when using it and is very quite.

This is an excellent product, very easy to use. U change from flat to edging with a foot pedal. Delivery easy i fetched it from sainsburys and price at Argos was great.

Good size strimmer, which has the handy auto feed feature to save manually adjusting during use. Comes with a battery so no cords in the way. Minor issues with battery attachment being a bit tricky to remove, but will hopefully easy with use.

It's a not worth for the money i bought 2day ago I try to use battery life only 1hr sadly stop working i bring back to argos they say thay can't take return it's wast of money

To change the spool on the Spear & Jackson Cordless Grass Trimmer - 18V, follow these general steps.
Replacement spool (or line if you're rewinding manually)
Always remove the battery before performing any maintenance to avoid accidental starts.
Flip the trimmer over to access the spool housing. You’ll see a cap held in place by two tabs on either side.
Press the tabs inward simultaneously and lift the cap off. This will expose the spool.
Gently pull the old spool out of the housing. If there’s any remaining line, remove it.
If using a pre-wound spool, insert it into the housing and feed the line through the eyelets.
If rewinding manually, wind the line in the direction of the arrows on the spool, then feed the ends through the eyelets.
Align the cap with the housing and press down until it clicks into place.
Reinsert the battery and briefly power on the trimmer to ensure the line feeds correctly.
