Good enough trimmer.
It's a decent wee trimmer but it's massively over priced , mine came without the flower adaptor, it wasn't a big deal I just assembled it and used it and it dies exactly what it says on the tin as they say .🤣

Light weight and easy to handle.
I bought this strimmer specifically to trim the edges of the lawn. So far it has been fine and does a good job considering it's reasonable price. I would have given it 5 stars, but the line feed occasionally jams which means removing the reel and releasing the fangled striming line. Otherwise a good buy.

Charger didn’t work
Very difficult to assemble, particularly the part guard. I used it once and then plugged it in to recharge only to find that the charger had stopped working. Not impressed. I returned it and bought another one elsewhere for considerably less.

I had the same model ( different name though) befire. The battery lasts longer than the first one. For a budget purchase I expect a similar, good long life.

Does the job
Easy to use and good battery life. I've another product of the same brand which helps with batteries. More effective than my previous strimmer that had a solid plastic blade that kept needing replacing.

To change the spool on the Spear & Jackson Cordless Grass Trimmer - 18V, follow these general steps.
Replacement spool (or line if you're rewinding manually)
Always remove the battery before performing any maintenance to avoid accidental starts.
Flip the trimmer over to access the spool housing. You’ll see a cap held in place by two tabs on either side.
Press the tabs inward simultaneously and lift the cap off. This will expose the spool.
Gently pull the old spool out of the housing. If there’s any remaining line, remove it.
If using a pre-wound spool, insert it into the housing and feed the line through the eyelets.
If rewinding manually, wind the line in the direction of the arrows on the spool, then feed the ends through the eyelets.
Align the cap with the housing and press down until it clicks into place.
Reinsert the battery and briefly power on the trimmer to ensure the line feeds correctly.
