I purchased this safety gate to stop my new puppy from being able to access the front door and upstairs. The height of the gate is ideal as he will be a large dog when fully grown. I really like the design and sturdiness of the gate, which was easy to install. As I didn't want to have to drill to fit it, the fact this is a pressure fit gate is exactly what I was looking for. I also like that you can purchase an extension kit to increase the width of the gate to fit wider spaces. The gate was on offer so was really good value for money and seems strong and well built too.

Great door gate.does exactly what it's designed to
We bought one for upstairs for our daughters bedroom door ,so prevents trying to climb over. It's solid, strong,secure and easy to adapt to door frames. we did have a slight issue but probly the door frames size, was a little to small for it so misses had to take a little out of sides, so fit in door frame . Don't think this was a fault with product. More our door frames not standard size . Height is great for preventing dogs or little ones from trying to attempt to cling over so Very safe ,a well built . Was that good we ordered another one for downstairs .had same issue with door frame but again think.its more down to our house not having standard door frames. Would highly recommend them for price and piece of mind .specially at night as don't have to worry pets or little ones are trying to climb over them. 5*

Great for someone without a dog too
We now have an elderly parent living with us who has dementia and who was constantly up and down our stairs esp during the middle of the night so not much sleep for us (!) : we did our research and so we bought this large gate to try it to protect them at the top of the stairs. It works….What an absolute godsend purchase… wish we had bought it months ago. We can now sleep without worry now. I would totally recommend and it’s easy to fit even on my old stairs.

Yes, you need to drill screws into a wall. Not advertised that way.
