About this product
The Argos Home Malibu Storage Cabin Bed gives your child a proper place to sleep and keeps their room tidy at the same time. It's designed for children aged four and over, with storage built right into the frame so toys, clothes and games stay within easy reach. The white frame and deep blue drawers create a clean, Scandinavian look that works in most bedrooms. Two central shelves and four generous drawers provide plenty of space for everyday essentials without needing extra furniture.
The bed comes with a Habitat Kids Rae Comfort mattress that's foam-free and hypoallergenic, so it's suitable for sensitive sleepers. It's a single-sided open coil mattress with 192 springs for medium support, and you won't need to flip it over. The cabin bed frame holds up to 100kg, so it's sturdy enough for adult use if needed. Assembly takes two people, with all fixings included. Made in the UK with a one year manufacturer's guarantee.

Frame is good, mattress not so much
The bed frame is good although very heavy and a two person job. Th mattress is so lumpy and uncomfortable it wasn’t possible to sleep on it without a thick foam mattress topper. You can feel the springs. I guess you get what you pay for

Nice bed, head board and back board would be nicer
Easy to put together. Good storage in drawers and beneath. The fact it comes with a mattress is a big plus. However, a headboard would have been nice, but the pic doesn't show one so that's on me, I suppose. My main gripe is the back. It is open, and could have easily been made nice for more storage space, possibly a slide door or something. Having it unopen just looks a bit tacky, so it has to go up against the wall to hide that.

Great junior bed perfect fit for a small room
I bought this few months ago, was very easy to assemble, it needs 2 people to put it together. It's sturdy . The mattress that comes to it is very good. The only problem about the bed it's a bit high and needs to be climbed but is not that a problem when you climb you hit the edges and that is very painful and cuts the wood cuts bad. But we stick a soft sponge on and now is perfect. Draws are specious and shelfs at the bottom too great for placing miniatures toys books etc.

Great bed, comfy mattress. A bit awkward to build.

Simple to put together and looks great
We bought this last month and it was very easy to put together. The bed looks sturdy and my little boy loves it. My only slight concern is that the edges of the bed are not great for small children. We have put safety guards on the corners to stop him hurting himself on them. Maybe a little more consideration could have been used as to who would be using this type of product!

Sharp edges!!!
Bed just as described. Easy to build. The one bad point which is, in my opinion a huge let down, is that the edges of the bed are very sharp. Enough so that 2 of my sons(one 7 year old and one 17 year old, so not young children carrying on) have both hurt their leg as they have sat on the bed. Leaving the older one with quite a bad injury on the back of his knee, which has resulted in this leaving a scar. Haven't had the bed long but already thinking of getting a replacement.

By turning the Argos Home Malibu Kids Cabin Bed and Mattress - Blue & White around, the storage and drawers will be on the other side of the bed. The bed is identical at both ends so the pillow can be used at either end.
