The cube storage has the top and 2 shelves each with maximum of 8kg, therefore the maximum weight this would hold would be 24kg

NO IT CANNOT BE WALL MOUNTED! The Argos staff is referring to the recommendation to secure these units to a wall, especially the larger versions, to prevent them from tipping over, NOT for them to be wall mounted! They do NOT come with such fixtures, and they are NOT DESIGNED to be wall mounted! These small units, and the larger versions, are ALL FLOOR STANDING UNITS! Hope this helps clarify things!
