The Julien Velvet Sofa gives you that roomy spot where the whole family can settle in for the evening, or you can sprawl out solo and really relax. It's upholstered in soft velvet that feels gorgeous against your skin, with foam-filled seat cushions that give you that balance between soft and supportive. There's proper mid-century style here with the T-shaped cushions, wide boxy arms, and pillow-style back. It'll seat four people comfortably, so there's room for everyone when friends come round. The natural velvet finish adds warmth to your living room without overwhelming the space.
The metal feet keep it stable and lift the frame off the floor, so you can hoover underneath without any awkward manoeuvring. Reversible back cushions mean you can flip them around to even out wear over time. The foam filling in the fixed seats holds its shape well through plenty of use. You've got a ten-year frame guarantee, so it's built to last. Specialist cleaning only for the velvet, and you'll want to plump the cushions regularly to keep them looking their best. Supportive enough to sit properly, but deep and cosy for relaxing. It holds its shape really well and still looks great after regular use. The colour is perfect too — warm, neutral and easy to style with cushions and throws. It arrived well packaged, was easy to position, and instantly felt like a proper “anchor” piece in the space. We’ve had lots of compliments already. Genuinely one of the best furniture purchases we’ve made from Habitat. Stylish, comfortable, and great value for money. Highly recommend. For a low cost item it fares well. If you are in the habit of using sofa arms to rest your head you will require cushions, back and arms are lower than any previous sofas I have had. Usable, none offensive.

Hello Julia. The Habitat Julien Velvet 3 Seater Sofa has foam-filled T-shaped seat cushions and this is then covered by a board at the bottom of the sofa onto which the legs are screwed into. I hope this helps.

"We use the Martindale method for both Pilling and Abrasion
Pilling – after 5000 cycles, grade 4-5
Abrasion - >25000 cycles no breakage."
