WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT
I bought this as my Pro Express had just died and I spotted it on offer in a local shop. I knew it wasn’t as expensive as my previous iron but thought it was worth a try and would save me waiting for an iron to be delivered. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! The actual iron is incredibly heavy and left me with an aching arm after no time at all. There really is no need for the iron to be so heavy. The base ironically is very light and the water tank isn’t removable so needs to be filled using a jug or a bottle. After having several Tefal steam generators I thought this would be similar to the others even though it had a smaller tank. How wrong I was! Take a tip and don’t bother buying this! I’ll be returning mine and looking for something else, possibly even a different brand!

Not able to have constant steam is not good, I press the button consecutively 3 times & the steam only stays on for seconds. Not happy with this

Iron return due to the iron being quite heavy and awkward to use.

Very disappointing
Unfortunately I will be returning this product, the iron it self is too heavy and the cable is in a funny position and gets in the way when ironing, and because the water tank is not detachable it makes it very awkward to empty.

Mains cable is too short & gets it the way. Transporting item is hard as there is no clip on the front to hold it in place & the iron doesn't stay on the bottom very safely. Works quite well apart from that.

Really pleased with this iron. I have never used a steam generator iron before and am pleasantly surprised. The iron glides smoothly and steam output is great. Only slight annoyance is the tank isn't detachable and it is a pain to fill it.

No, the SV6110 does not require a cartridge due to the built-in anti-scale technology
There is no scale collecter on this model but the anti calc button should do the same job
Remove the scale collector and rinse under the tap to empty the scale collector.

No. The steam will cease every few seconds while the pump generates more. This is normal and exactly the same as any other iron or garment steamer.
Yes, the steam is continuous with the button held down. However, If you press and hold down the steam button for too long (for example when ironing large items such as sheets), this can cool down the soleplate and so it will not be hot enough to produce steam and you will see water instead.
Not on this model. It is very easy to fill with a small jug, and also easy to empty over the sink if you dont want to store with water in the tank.
